As many who read this have noticed, I'm in love with Wal*Mart-dot-com. You can find almost anything, so of course, I found a nice $8.25 (tax, S&H included) copy of Sabatini's Captain Blood, which of course the local library also has but... I could have my own copy, read at my leisure or rush through it to get it back in time, plus with my own copy I can mark up the pages to my heart's content... Plus it's paperback... Oh yeah, bash the nice, old hardcover copies again Breeze go ahead... Thanks I think I will. I HATE HARDCOVER!!! I feel better now.
Now I just have to wait for it to get here, today? tomorrow? Monday? Please before Tuesday is really all I'm asking...

My mom also hates hardcovers, but nobody understands her...
I don't "hate" them, I just can't fit more than one in my purse and my librarian soul feels terrible when they disintegrate from being abused.
Some of my favorite books I have in hard cover. For instance my copy of Josh Bernstein's book goes every where with me (I love the behind the scenes stuff on DFT) and it's in hardcover.
I think I would like your mom. So few people get the anti-hardcover thing.
