“How do you arrange your books on your shelves? Is it by author, by genre, or you just put it where it falls on?”
I arrange my books in a very strange order... Most of my books are on the floor of my bed room around my bed. Either where they've fallen or where I've kicked them so they won't get stepped on too much. Must make note to clean bedroom. I know basically where all of them are however and can, given a small amount of time, find most of them. Although mom's copy of Grisham's The Client is among the missing at the moment.
Otherwise on my shelves it's by how much I want to be able to find it when I want to reread it. Then by well, Sabatini and non fiction and HS yearbooks are on the top shelf then romances on the next to. Organized by author, series and publication date. The last shelf is my other stuff, paranormal, Daddy-Long-Legs, Fannie Flagg, Eragon, Eldest, Brisngr, Chronicles of Narnia (all in one!).
Sadly most of my books fall into the floor portion of organization. I only have two cases and one is DVDs and my little momentos. A purple horse head bookend, the flashing lighthouses my grandma gave me a few years ago, the jewelry box she gave me that's empty now because all the things are hanging in the box I got myself this summer, (it does have some of my Canadian money collection stored in it though). Also said collection is in a Betta Bowl on top of the case. I'll see if I can find the pictures in a previous post...
