For some reason it made me think of Star Trek, lol.
Even though I agree that there are some bizarre and unreasonable elements to religion, I don't think this is a good way to argue that point. It's a massive over-simplification for a start... You can make many things sound ridiculous by phrasing them a certain way - doesn't mean they actually are ridiculous. I'm pretty sure I've seen the same thing done to atheism.
My guess is that it's meant more as a sort of in-joke for non-religious people than an actual argument against religion. It's not very funny though...

I find it highly offensive. If the same were written about the Koran there would be bloodshed.
I agree with the logic on offer whether or not its worth getting peoples backs up about it is another matter entirely .
