Archery and nope no books today..

I seem to be posting less and less about books and more and more about archery. Alas I'm not reding much these days.
But I did score 175 in archery today. The center ring of the target is worth nine, I hit 9 of those while we were scoring as well as three before we started scoring. I only hit my arm with the string once. So things are definately looking up.
My partner shot a 173 so we're doing really well. Considering the one guy is still hitting pavement. I feel bad for him I really do. I used to hit pavement while everyone else (including him) was hitting the target. I think he needs to go back to a recurve bow rather than the compound type I shoot with.
I really love archery, did I mention that? Enough that I might survive the next year without any new books at all and get my parents to get me a bow, some arrows and a target for Christmas and my birthday.
For the first time in my life I'm looking forward to gym class. And not because of a cute guy either. Just because I like it. I'm scared. Scared for my sanity. I'm supposed to hate all sports except hockey and that's only because of Emerson Drive....
