Lewis or Tolkien? They're just about tied, I love the Chronicles of Narnia enough to read them over and over again and have multiple copies Tolkien is great as far as the Hobbit wasn't too crazy about LOTR but I did love the movies.

I got lost in some of the jargon in this one - golden age SF? Huh? I'm not a fan of short stories either. If I really like a story, I want it to be at least novel length.
I must admit quite a lot of this left me in the dust. so I just made up answers.. I hate short stories it's like the author was to lazy to finish it.
