A book that challenged your identity or your faith: Gallows Hill, it was about reincarnation, which I now whole heartily embrace, also I once read a series of books about Wicca Sweep, which introduced me to circles (my mom doesn't like candles in the house but if she did I might cast circles) my religion, while I consider myself Lutheran as I was baptised, I believe God allows you to find your own path to Him, and you can do it any way you want. I borrow bits from all different religions.

I like The Immortals series too. It was the first fantasy I read. The Sea-Hawk looks good, might look that up.

The Immortals series I read by accident and they were the first Tamora Pierce books I read.
The only problem with the Sea-Hawk is that it can be a little hard to find. It took me over a year to get the copy I have now but it's an amazingly fast read. If you read it, I hope you enjoy it. BTW it's also a tad dry if you don't read a lot of books from that time period.
