25) I picked my major (Archaeology) pretty much when I was in 4th grade I fell in love with pyramids. And wanted to be the one digging them out of the sand. I then decided that getting that far away from home was impossible so decided on various other things but always loved history and wanted to be the one getting to see the Roman roads being dug up and to see the Greek statues pulled out of the Mediterranean Sea. So I decided on Anthropology. Figuring that Master's degree would be the soonest I could get into Archaeology. But Potsdam has it as a major for undergrads. So I'm trying to get in there.

ps I have 89 credits after this semester and I am in my third year

pps I also thought about becoming a librarian decided against dealing with all the people who don't love books as much as me

# The book that's been on my shelf the longest: I think that would be well there's always been a copy of Anne of Green Gables whether a Children's Abridged Version given to me by my grandma. Or one of the many copies I've destroyed over the years..



# A book that reminds you of something specific in your life (a person, a place, a time, etc.): This is even harder than the first. I suppose Mitch Ablom's The Five People You Meet in Heaven it always makes me think of the older brother who gave it to me (again Scott thanks for the crow). Or Fannie Flagg's Can't Wait to get to Heaven, for some reason the little old lady in it makes me think of my grandma Peggy (died in 2001) No idea why just does.

I'd kind of been wanting to read it (older readers know I'm obsessed with his books) I haven't read it yet but after I manage to get my hand on the three books that will be my first three books of '09. I've re-read a couple but even though I'm doing that one Review All Challenge I'm not reviewing R rated books. Doing so would make me uncomfortable. And what with deciphering The Matrix trilogy (still can't decide if Neo died or not) I haven't finished a single new book yet.. And it's the sixth!!!

what 3 books on a desert island would you want to have with you and why?

wow hard question. I'm assuming I get to take a survival expert with me (Josh Bernstein would be preferred). Also that I have access to food and such so survival books are kind of pointless. So I think the Bible, because I get spooked a lot and reading a small bit calms me down, very important. Then Verne's 20000 Leagues Under the Sea, because I adore Nemo and his Nautilus. And finally my all in one of the Chronicles of Narnia. Yeah I'm cheating that's a whole series of books but it's all in one volume so HA!!!

Yes it is. The picture was taken in my drive way on my way home from college taken from my brother's truck.

Not dyed so much. I put a little bit of hair glue in it once and it was blue. But it was only just a tiny little six strand bit. And yes that is my hair.

If you HAD to dye your hair an unnatural colour (like blue!) what colour would you choose?
If you've ever read Amelia Atwater-Rhodes book In The Forests of the Night then you know by the end of the book Risika has blonde hair with black tiger like stripes I've always kind of wanted to do that with my hair. But so far I don't dare my mom likes my hair and would probably kill me if I changed my hair color. My dad would help her. I remember him telling me a couple years ago that my hair is the same color as my grandma's used to be.
